About Me

I lost my father in 2009.  I lived in Florida at the time and my parents resided in Virginia.  I had to figure out how to help my mother sell 3 vehicles and an aging boat from 6 states away.  It took us more than a year of fighting with my father’s employer to ensure that my mother got the pension that my father had earned for her.  Then came the house.  It was 25 years old and on the water in a location that had been battered by hurricanes in recent years.  It was a hard sell to say the least.  I had to remotely manage repairs and renovations between my monthly trips to Virginia.   After the home was finally listed, it took over 2 years to sell and there were more stipulations and repairs that had to be taken care of before we finally closed.  

That process was very difficult as well as time consuming for me, and I was lucky enough to have my mother as a local partner.  I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it would have been if that was not the case.  That is why I decided to launch this company.  If I can help a family going through a similar situation, I can go to sleep at night feeling like I have succeeded in making life a little easier for a mourning family.  Having a business where I can feel good about myself and what I do is very important to me.  If you think I might be able to help your family, your next click should Contact Us.
